Overview
Unwind in our peaceful cabin tucked away in the woodlands just outside Franklin, Tennessee. This serene retreat combines rustic charm with modern comforts—perfect for families, friends, or couples looking to explore, relax, and recharge. Set on 30 private acres, the cabin offers restful sleep with two queen cooling memory foam beds and two plush twin mattresses, plus close proximity to scenic trails, local attractions, and historic downtown Franklin.

The Space
This charming cabin features an open-concept loft overlooking the cozy living room, complete with two queen memory foam beds and two twin Beautyrest mattresses—ideal for a restful night’s sleep.

The living area is styled with warm wood finishes, cozy leather seating, and tasteful rustic decor. A fully equipped kitchen and sunlit dining area offer everything you need for home-cooked meals. Large windows and high ceilings bring the outdoors in, while the spacious deck provides a perfect spot to sip your morning coffee or stargaze at night.

Step outside and discover over 9 miles of private walking trails that wind through the surrounding forest, offering a peaceful connection to nature just outside your door.

Guest Access
To reach the cabin, guests travel a scenic gravel road past a charming green house and a unique A-frame with its own pond. You’ll turn right at these landmarks and continue onto a private drive. An old tobacco barn signals you’re close—then the paved driveway winds uphill, bringing you to your secluded retreat.

Plenty of parking is available on-site.

The Neighborhood
Located in the rolling hills near Franklin, TN, the area offers privacy and tranquility with easy access to town. Franklin is known for its historic charm, boutique shops, and vibrant food scene. Year-round festivals and events celebrate the region’s Southern hospitality and cultural heritage.

Outdoor enthusiasts will love the nearby Harpeth River for canoeing and fishing, and there are numerous parks and trails for hiking and nature walks. Whether you're exploring Civil War sites or enjoying a day in downtown Franklin, there’s something here for everyone.

A personal vehicle is recommended due to the cabin’s remote setting, but ride-share services like Uber and Lyft are also available and can be a convenient option, especially during colder months when roads may be hilly. These services make it easy to head into town or explore nearby attractions without needing to drive yourself.

This is a great little cabin in a very nice location. The cabin was clean and roomy, great for a family. The decor of the cabin was great and outdoorsy. The property was excellent with great trails. Communication with the host was top notch, making sure we were good but not being a burden. We look forward to staying again! 5 stars - A it was convenient for out of both Nashville and Franklin.

The location is lovely and the cabin is nice. There could be more of the kitchen essentials provided as we needed a knife for cutting up food and kitchen towels) and something upstairs to hang clothes up so they aren’t wrinkled from having to live out of a suitcase. Some type of armoire would be perfect for the space. I would also recommend a light above the kitchen and the bathroom sink. It’s tough to cook and get ready with very little light. Overall we had a nice stay!

This was the easiest access to a property I have experienced, which is so nice after traveling all day! This propery is accesesed through dirt, gravel, steep winding roads. Which is what we expected for this more secluded area. We were prepared and brought the cherokee. Not a necessity, but made it easier. We arrived at night and found that motion sensing lights on the property lit up right where we needed them, which was great! The ondoor space is very nice. There is a wood burning fireplace, portable radiant heater, and mini split. The upstairs is a loft with 2 adult and 2 kid beds. We were able to move them around easily to accomodate our needs. The kids and my husband had fun with the pacman game up there.We did not find anything that we needed, that wasn't provided. The back porch is elevated above the woods, has seating, including a rocker and a power outlet. We explored the woods and enjoyed the walking trails. There were deer, chipmunks, and a beautiful bard owl hanging around. This time of year the walnuts and acorns are dropping, and can startle in the middle of the night when landing on the roof. But was oart of the charm of beeing out of the city and fully in nature. We were able to drive to stores, restaurants, and to Nashville in reasonable amounts of time. I wish our stay was longer. Truly enjoyed this peaceful place.

Country Cabin Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was the perfect mix of peaceful nature and fun activities. We spent our evenings grilling on the propane grill and enjoying delicious meals. One of the highlights was the axe throwing area—it was such a unique and exciting way to unwind and have some laughs.We enjoyed seeing wild turkeys wandering through the property, which added such a peaceful, rustic charm to the experience. And inside, the Pac-Man arcade game was a total blast! The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and refreshing escape!

Rustic "in the woods" cabin with relaxing atmosphere. Great porch to sit and calm down listening to the birds and wind rustling through the trees. Secluded with lots of privacy so if prefer modern decor seek elsewhere. VRBO description is accurate and host provides good detail of the area. Best to arrive in daylight as driveway slope can be a challenge but once done it's not difficult.

Tucked away

This cabin is just the scene we were looking for during our getaway. It's rustic and tucked away in the woods on the side of a hill with hiking trails near. The property manager was very responsive, even late at night during a tornado warning. He made sure we were safe and taken care of. The driveway is very steep and could be tight for larger vehicles, but you get used to navigating it. The downtown area of Franklin is very cute and walkable. The city is not far away if you want to leave the quiet cabin, but you would never know you're even near a large city with all the hustle and bustle. We would stay at this cabin again.

Peaceful Getaway

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our three nights stay at Jared‘s cabin in the woods. Coffee on the front porch rocker, a walk in the woods, comfortable sleep. Only 15 to 20 minutes from Franklin shopping and dining and 30 to 40 minutes from Nashville nightlife we had the best of both worlds.

Cabin with all the convenience of home

This cabin lives up to its pictures. It is very clean and with all the essentials and even includes DVD's and checker and scrabble board. The location feels remote and secluded but only about 10 minutes from conveniences(Chicfila). The host is quick to respond. The drive to the cabin is very steep with a sharp turn but added more to the adventure!

Excellent place

The house is a little getaway, off the beaten path, but with all of the amenities. Our family of five stayed together. While it was a little tight for the five of us, we enjoyed the family time together. Also, we hiked around the house on the property and enjoyed that. We used the fireplace constantly. It is a little hard to find and you have to drive up a steep hill. But once you find it, you won't want to leave!

Cabin in the beautiful TN hills

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this gorgeous cabin tucked in the hills! The scenery was just gorgeous and our family of 5 (kids ages 10, 9 and 6) was perfectly cozy. We enjoyed walking on the trails, sitting on the porch and had everything we needed. Easy access to Franklin and also Nashville. We will be back!!

Secluded Quiet Getaway

Its a beautiful property away from the everyday noise of being in a major city. Somewhere to relax in a rocking chair on the porch enjoying nature with loved ones. The cabin had a well stocked kitchen area you can use to cook meals and dine in or if youd rather, downtown franklin was just a short drive away. The property manager was very responsive and friendly. We wouldnt change a thing and hope to stay again in the future.

The cabin was beautifully maintained and extremely quaint and cozy. It’s the perfect place to go if you want to relax. It has everything you need and a short ride to town if you have to pick something up or explore downtown Franklin. I would definitely return again and recommend it to friends and family. The beds were also so clean and comfortable! Thank you to Jared who was an amazing host and knew the right times to check in and communicate.
