My family stayed here for Spring Break in mid-March, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Only one of the outdoor hot tubs was warm, and the lazy river had very few floats available. The tiki bar was also closed for the season. While some of this might be understandable given a colder winter, it was still frustrating—especially with so many families visiting during a peak vacation time.
Additionally, parts of the property were under construction, which made the overall environment feel messy and unkempt. Adjustments for elevator use due to construction were inconvenient, and some staff members were noticeably rude when we asked for assistance.
Throughout our stay, we encountered several unfriendly employees. One particularly frustrating incident involved a security guard who ignored us when we were locked out. While a few staff members—such as those at the café—were kind and helpful, many others seemed disengaged and uninterested in providing a positive guest experience.
Maintenance was also an issue. The trash containers in the arcade overflowed for days without being emptied. Our room felt outdated, the phones didn’t appear to be functional, and the bedroom TV was not a smart TV and lacked any connected services.
Overall, this property has potential to be a great family destination with better upkeep and customer service. However, given the price, our experience did not meet expectations and did not feel worth the cost.
