«Friendly staff, beautifully presented rooms; they're not fancy but they are really well modernised with loads of convenient features like power points above the bedside tables with charge ports. It was, without doubt, the cleanest motel room I've ever stayed in...absolutely spotless. Good AC, good wifi and comfy bed and quality linen. Great value motel.»

«We had a wonderful experience at La Maison Rose, from the minute we walked in we felt at home. The rooms were clean and the bed super comfortable. We enjoyed an oudoor bbq in the garden and the complimentary bubbles and biscuits was incredibly generous. The communication from Julie was straighforward and easy to follow. Totally enjoyed our time here. »

Breakfast very good.
Dog friendly and lots of locals to play with, including the odd sheep.
Hosts couldn't be nicer.

«In summary - quiet, rural, friendly. Beautifully decorated, comfy and warm room part of, but separate from, the main house. Lots of well behaved dogs, chooks, guinea fowl, cats to share the stay with. Bonus was the cooked breakfast! Axedale is on the rail bike trail and Bendigo has so much to offer!»
