«Loved the Robins Nest. Lovely inside and out. The porch was relaxing, Bed (we only slept in the downstairs one) was super comfortable, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable. We were there to go to Mammoth Cave, and it was about 30 minutes away, so convenient and yet not overrun with other tourists. The neighborhood was peaceful. There are not a lot of food options or even grocery stores nearby, so plan ahead with that. Otherwise, we'd gladly book this again.»

«We loved our time at the Raleigh Retreat. It was quiet and peaceful and perfect! Our Australian friends were enamored with the countryside of KY ... including the bald eagle that perched right in front of them off of the back porch! Their encounters with the local residents and business owners were all helpful, welcoming, warm ... simply charming. They will have lots of wonderful 'country' experiences to share with their friends upon their return to AUS ... which is one of their goals for this ...

«Beautiful place and area. Extremely isolated, which is what we sought. Very comfortable and clean. While the lake was still down, we were able to fish and the fishing was very successful. Loved my 3 days of undisturbed fishing. Anyone looking for backwoodsy comfort, this is a gem and a value. All should note that you are at the head of a hollow deep in the woods. This is where the ticks and skeeters live. Be prepared if you plan to trek down the path to the water. Bring repellant. Otherwise, ...

«It is a little far from everything, but worth the drive. Beautiful deck and view. Found house to be stocked with most everything we needed. I did have to call owner to find a light switch and she answered quickly and was very sweet. I recommend this house if you want to get away . If you are looking for night life this is not for you.»
