«We had a wonderful week in Myrtle Cottage. Maurice and Barbara were great hosts. Gave us some good local advice on places to go. They were very friendly and hospitable. The cottage was ideally situated for exploring the Lizard Peninsula. We would highly recommend and would love to return.»

«Loved all the art! The kitchen was just like being at home. Lovely sunroom and courtyard area. The bed was super comfy and the claw foot bath/shower was novel. The cottage is in a great position for seafood restaurants and walks along the coast.»

«As travelers from Australia, we decided on a self contained old worker's cottage as a change from the ordinary motels. We were not disappointed. Although small ( or compact ), the house came with the mod cons we required. Whether summer holidaying or like us, travelling about Cornwall, the house is central to beaches, shops, transport and restaurants and tourist spots.»

«A very charmingly furnished holiday home. Very well equipped kitchen, nice living room and cosy bedrooms. Everything was pleasant. The location is great if you don't need a parking space right in front of the door. You have to park your car in one of the nearby paid parking spaces. Mousehole is an old and very picturuesque village that can't accomodate cars. Out of season there is also free parking on the road along the coast to Newlyn, but this is a bit of a walk, about 5-10 ...

«The cottage is exactly as described, very comfortable and well-equipped. The welcome basket of "goodies" was a nice touch. The location is really spectacular - right on the cliff top overlooking the sea, remote but still within walking distance of the village. I was a little concerned about the drive along the muddy track to the cottage, but even I managed it in our little Hyundai i30!»

«Lovely property, convenient for Truro and very close to the lovely Heron pub. I had my 90 year old mother with me so the steps into the property were a bit of a challenge, particularly the step over the threshold. The stairs within the house were also steep, but she managed ok. Well equipped and tastefully decorated. I tried to contact the owner and was unsuccessful, which would have been a concern if anything had happened. Left a message on the VRBO site and telephoned the number in the ...

«It suited us very well for 3 nights thank you. It was cosy and well located for our needs. Parking was an issue but one would expect that in a town centre and the cottage was of an age when there were far fewer cars. The back garden has steep steps and the handrail could use a little attention. Thank you for having us.»

«The cottage is excellent, clean, convenient and has everything you will need. Penryn is quiet, so it’s a trip in to Truro or Falmouth for entertainment, but the buses are excellent. A great place to stay and explore Cornwall.»

«Such a beautiful, comfortable cottage, they really have thought of everything thing here. Beautifully decorated with the perfect blend of comfort and style and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Perfect location for peace and quiet but 2 minutes into the main town. The gate at the front was an added bonus for us with dogs because we could have the doors open without the worry of them running out .I absolutely cannot find anything to fault about this property ...

«Perfect Location, just minutes walk to the beach and nice play park for the kids. Close to plenty of places to eat. Beach is beautiful. Views from the house is stunning. The cooker, decking and downstairs ensuite shower need some tlc but that didn’t effect usage or us having a fantastic time. Will definitely be coming back!»
