«Hottest day in May on record and the heating was on in my room. After speaking with staff three times and an hour and a half later, I was moved to another room. In spite of the wonderful advert featuring a restaurant I was told no kitchen tonight. Second room was very noisy overlooking the car park which doubles as a camping ground for motor homes, with ten present. No mattress cover and a very dirty mattress. Black mould on the bathroom ceiling which had been painted over but still showed ...

«Valgt stedet for å være "langt borte" og det var det og stedet leverte. Frokosten var absolutt i topp-klasse for en eks-britt som lever nå i Norge. Stedet var også valgt for utvalg av engesk øl, og stedet leverte der også. Eneste minus var romplassering. Vi fikk et rom som delte vegg med toalettene hvor det høres ut som om håndtørke er montert, dermed var det lyd derfra inntil puben stengt. OK det. Verre var hvor lytt det var mellom rommet vårt og naborommet forårsaket av en tynn dør i mellom ...

«Great little find here! Lovely pub with great atmosphere, food fab with onsite restaurant. The room was really well presented and lovely decor. My room was facing south and west on the hottest day of the year, thankfully the staff provided a fan and there was a well stocked fridge in the room too. Breakfast was continental style in the room in a lovely hamper, plus yogurts, milk and orange juice in the fridge. Would go back again when in the area. Thanks team.»

«Although the hotel facilities were good and the location was very central, our room was above the bar which was a club on Saturday night. The music was really loud till midnight. Although the web site mentioned that they had a DJ, we hadn't expected to be right above it.»

«lovely rooms, spacious and plenty of storage and a fridge. Good restaurant and good menu, reasonably priced. Nice seating areas to front and rear including a pizza oven. Breakfast was good, though you had to order the previous night, so you are stuck with what you ordered no matter what kind of night you have!»
