The place was freezing! Following the directions to use the heaters was only successful on a couple of the units. Most of them just sat at the minimum heat levels. NONE of the TVs worked or at least didn't have any service. There were NO directions on how to use them, and many tries with both remotes resulted only in frustration. Someone left the window open in the main bathroom until we got there...don't know why. The ceiling in one of the rooms was coming down, and there were cracks in the molding. We took pictures of all of these. The upstairs bathroom is nearly unusable, and there is an ill-fitting blind in it. The Christmas tree seemed a little bit cheery at least, although it was March. There was a beeping like a bad smoke alarm battery that we could never locate, and it may have been locked in an area we couldn't get in...maybe in the fire hazard area of the living room with the many cords connecting to different items that we couldn't get to. Some of the furniture was shaky or torn...I frankly have never had a worse experience in a dwelling, but gave it two stars because it did have a good number of rooms and bathrooms. I don't understand all the high ratings that this has received, as I would never stay here agian, and probably not use VRBO again, either.
