«we booked the day before and were not sure to have made the right choice among the different hotels in the lake region.
It was an incredible surprise: everything was in accordance with our wishes.
We liked the place very much: the hotel is in a small village and you can walk to the lake and even have a bath there. Of course you can use the small pool specially when the weather is hot like when we were there.
The service was amazing through a man who was present the whole day and always willing ...

«We had a great stay at Hotel Firenze Lugano! The receptionist was so sweet and welcoming, which set a really nice tone for our visit. The location was perfect for us — we walked the Olive Trail to Gandria right from the hotel, and it was a beautiful and manageable distance.
We also ate at the onsite restaurant and really enjoyed it — the food was lovely and the atmosphere was relaxed. While there’s no dedicated parking, we were able to find parking nearby without too much trouble.

«Nice hotel. Is a bit old, but the location is wonderful.
BUT, If you go there in the summer. You must remeber to book room with Aircondition. When we arrived we got an old room without AC, and we had over 30 degrees in the room with to small children. Thanks to a very helpful staff, who upgraded our room we got a nice newer room with AC and the stay was great. Very nice restaurant by the lake.»

«Luxury! The suite was beautiful and comfortable. Our patio had a gorgeous view of the lake and city. I would have loved to stay longer. Aside from being fairly near the train station and the Italian restaurant across the way, there isn't much nearby. We did hike the trail behind the hotel to the top of the mountain, and that was lovely. The receptionist was very helpful in coordinating and explaining our transit options to Lake Como.»

«Checkin was quick and easy! Some problems with the room key, but this was quickly fixed. Our room M10 was at the end of the corridor and some times during the day it was a bit noisy due to traffic in and out of the hotel. But the service of the hotel staff is top notch. The piano bar is truly "wunderbar" The food is also great! The shuttle service was very handy and a great offer! All in all a great stay at this wunderful mansion»
