We had an absolutely amazing stay. As someone who regularly stays at Relais & Châteaux properties, I can confidently say the level of service here truly matches that standard. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptional—warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their genuine hospitality made a lasting impression.
The food was consistently delicious, with a great variety and quality, even though we also took the opportunity to explore a few dining spots around Hiriketiya. Still, meals at the property were among our favorites. The grounds themselves are beautifully maintained, featuring lush tropical gardens, mature trees, and vibrant plants that create a peaceful, secluded atmosphere.
In the evenings, the candlelight ambiance adds something really special. Staying in an ocean-facing room was a highlight—you can hear the waves at night, which makes for a deeply relaxing experience. The property also felt very safe, and we loved seeing monkeys and peacocks wandering around the grounds.
Even though we visited during the low season, everything exceeded expectations. We first stayed in a sea-view bedroom and later upgraded to a Master Bedroom with a plunge pool, which made the experience even more memorable.
With upcoming renovations and a spa in the works, we would absolutely love to return. An extraordinary stay from start to finish.
