Review for Hôtel Le Rivage
I stayed one night at Hôtel Le Rivage, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.
The reception staff on both shifts were completely unhelpful and unprofessional. They gave me incorrect information, such as a wrong contact number for the reception. We also requested a shuttle to the spa, which ended up taking 40 minutes to arrive. In the end, we went on our own, and not even a simple smile was offered.
I had booked a room with a fireplace, but it was broken and didn’t work. I reported this issue to the reception three times. Each time, they promised someone would come in five minutes to fix it, but no one ever came, and they didn’t offer to change our room.
The room we were given (room 134) was full of outdated and worn-out items. The bed creaked, the bathroom faucet was broken, and whenever you turned it on, water would spill everywhere.
To make matters worse, I was charged for the fireplace room even though the fireplace didn’t work, and they neither changed our room nor refunded any money. This is truly unacceptable.
Overall, the stay was uncomfortable, and I truly regret choosing this hotel.
