When I booked the hotel through Expedia, I selected the “pay on arrival” option. However, the hotel charged me for the first night, the day before my arrival.
I attempted to contact the front desk multiple times—over five calls—and was hung up on at least four times before someone finally answered. When I asked why my calls were not being answered and why I had been disconnected, the response I received was dismissive and unprofessional.
On the day of my checkout, I also questioned why I received an email instructing me to go to the front desk to settle my bill, even though I had already paid upon check-in and provided a $150 deposit, which had not been disclosed at the time of booking. I was told that I did not owe anything and that the message is automatically sent to all guests. This explanation was confusing and unnecessary.
Overall, I found the level of customer service extremely poor.
The room was acceptable overall, but somewhat dusty—particularly around the TV. I also noticed in the bathroom a buildup of calcium on the showerhead, which was unpleasant.
When I arrived on May 1st at around 11:30 p.m., I noticed a police car and an ambulance on-site. The following day, there was another police presence, and on the night of May 2 to May 3, I observed three police cars. This repeated activity raised concerns and led me to question why emergency services were being called to this location so frequently.
Great service and food from the hotel restaurant.
