«This place did not disappoint!!! It was absolutely amazing. The birds were beautiful and we even got to see the resident sloth that lives on the land! Lorenzo found him and made sure to let us know where he was! Also, the pineapple that Lorenzo left for us was devoured by my 3 teenagers is about 30 seconds because it was so sweet!! If you’re looking for a house to stay in, this one is perfect!!! My kids all had their own room and the location was perfect!»

«What a beautiful place. We felt so special and welcome. The grounds are impressive and clean. Each day the pool area gets cleaned . We had ladies fix our meal 2x and the prices were very reasonable. There is someone on the grounds who would help us with anything. Everything we did was close by.»

«It is a very nicely located， everything is 10 minutes or less. Owner lives just next door. The washet and dryer us a huge plus since it rains everyday. It does have a few issues with the house but it didn't bother us. The plumbing is old, needed fixing or replacement. Otherwise it is good with teens.»

«We visited La Fortuna for my retirement trip with our 5 grown children and had the absolute BEST time. The house is incredible - well maintained and had plenty of space for 7 adults. The location of the house is perfect! We were just a few minutes away by car from everything that La Fortuna has to offer plus we could literally sit on the back porch and watch a wide variety of birds and monkeys in the trees behind the house. «We loved our stay at the house. House was clean and beds were comfortable. Location was great close to many attractions. The living space doesn’t have air conditioning but keeping bedrooms doors open helped cool the room. The only negative is the lack of pans for the oven and the shower in the master bedroom doesn’t drain well which makes the bathroom floor get very wet. «We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended.»
