La Corte Sjarmerende Toscana Villa

Tenuta di Corsano er en tidløs toskansk villa bare 12 km sør fra den middelalderske, befestede byen Siena. Tilgjengelig til leie, en eiendom med rullende vingårder og sølvbladede oliventrær. Dette er et herlig sted, den tradisjonelle innstillingen av innkvarteringen som ligger i det beroligende, landlige omgivelser. Her kan du slappe av ved det store og romslige svømmebassenget (7x14 m). Frokost serveres hver morgen. Noen av de lokale delikatesser som er utarbeidet av Liliana, som også kan organisere middager på forespørsel eller matlagingskurs.

We loved our time here at Francesca’s lovely Tuscan Vrbo. We felt like we were out in the countryside but yet the location was very convenient to drive to many of the hill towns we wanted to visit, both north and south. Francesca was very kind and made many great recommendations for us. It was almost hard to leave. The villa is beautiful and was very clean and comfortable.

Heaven in Tuscany

The place is absolutely gorgous! The host, Francessca, was extremely helpful answering all of our questions, providing suggestions on where to go, what to see, and where to eat. The villa was beautiful with everything we needed. Lilliana (the host's mother) fixed us a wonderful homemade italian dinner. The dinner and company were excellent. This place has some of the most beautiful views in all of Tuscany. We stayed a month. The villa was the perfect location to be able to venture out to all the Tuscany towns. I definitely recommend this VRBO!

Home Away From Home

We were fortunate to stay here for four weeks and watch the season change from Sept.-Oct. It was a perfect home away from home. A restful, rural location with a fabulous bakery, grocery and small restaurant nearby. As an artist, it was a wonderful location for plein air painting- a beautiful view at every turn. Vineyards. Sunrises. Sunsets. So lovely. Every other day we traveled to towns from Cortona, Montepulciano, Pisa and more. It’s a quick drive to Siena to enjoy a night of opera in an intimate setting. We also like to walk and enjoyed the hilly venture to Radi for a cheeseburger at the local restaurant. A favorite activity among our guests was cooking lessons with Lilliana! We would highly recommend as a great place to make memories!

Tuscan experience

The listing was as expected, except for the washing machine and dryer, not being within the suite. It was in a separate area that you had to go outside to access. It was still definitely accessible. We loved the pool and the lounge chairs available to use. We loved how close the villa was to the quaint little town where we could walk in to the restaurant at night or go to the bakery to get sweets in the morning and also go to the grocery store. We loved our patio table and chairs that we sat out in the morning and enjoyed the scenery and our coffee.

Rustic farmhouse in pastoral setting

Beautiful area with a small town just within walking distance. Property has lots of nice touches. Unfortunately the farmhouse was lacking basics for making meals, such as sugar or salt/pepper shakers and barely had enough dishes to serve the seven in our group. I would say it is best for a group of only two couples and some kids- not ideal for the three couples we had. I was most disappointed at not having any meals by Francesca’s mother as we tried to arrange this too late, and breakfasts are no longer offered despite the listing reporting this as an option. Francesca answered all of my requests by text although often too late to be useful and we felt a bit isolated as she is not living at the property. We did appreciate her help in getting two of our dinner reservations however.

Wonderful Tuscan Experience!

We were a party of 6 adults and 1 child, and our stay was absolutely terrific! Francesca communicated clearly and in a timely manner with us. The villa was beautiful and had everything we needed. When we had questions, Francesca responded very quickly and was quite helpful. When we needed help with a minor medical issue, Noni gave us great advice and even gave my son a ride into the village. Though the weather was a bit cool for swimming, the pool area was relaxing and offered gorgeous views. We capped our visit with an amazing meal cooked by Liliana, and enjoyed the wonderful company of her, Noni and Francesca. We would love to have to opportunity to come back!

Wonderful relaxing stay in picturesque setting

My family of six ( four children 9-16) had a wonderful 6 night stay at Ville Di Corsano. The apartment was spacious, clean and charmingly furnished. The views from the pool were stunning and the gardens lovingly tendered to by the owners. Groceries and a restaurant in the local town were within walking distance and a larger supermarket was about 15 minutes away by car. We did some day trips to Siena and other ancient hilltop towns but also had some days relaxing by the pool. Francesca our host and her family were extremely welcoming and gave us many tips on destinations and sight seeing. A cooking class with Liliana was a highlight as was our evening dinner in the courtyard with our hosts. Thank you Francesca, Nanni, Liliana and Peach for a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend this accommodation to others.

Beautiful surroundings

This lovely apartment is situated in the most picturesque location. It had everything we needed and was near many interesting and historic places. Completely Satisfied With Our Stay

Enjoyed a highly favorable and memorable stay here by Ville di Corsano. The property was just perfect with spacious accommodations, well equipped kitchen, and clean from corner to corner. The Tuscan location is equally great with easy access to the wines of Montalcino (among others) 45-55 minutes drive, the town of Sienna 15 minutes drive, and so much more. We highly recommend this property and will stay here again, without question, if our travels find us again in Tuscany.

Wonderful location

This property is in a wonderful setting and the family is quite helpful and nice. However, our biggest disappointment was that the villa was advertised with 3 bed 3 bath. There were only 2 bathrooms when we arrived. I was told that it's advertised that way but I should have received an email saying only 2 baths after booking...which I never received. Also the villa was a bit more worn than the pics show. I stayed in the twin bedroom and the bed was as hard as cement. Sheets were bright white and clean, but the comforters really need updating as colors were faded...not in a good Tuscan way. Other than that it's as shown. I can say that the landscape makes up for this and the area is convenient to restaurants and grocery. Also close to midevil cities and the coast if cruising around is desired. Our stay was lovely and Liliana's cooking is top rate. Francesca is very knowledgeable and can answer any question. Big picture...we had a great time.

Wonderful stay

I stayed here for 4 nights with my family, including my 83 year old father and 8 year old daughter. The property was outstanding, very clean and comfortable with beautiful furniture and artwork. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous and very well kept and the swimming pool was one of the nicest I've ever seen. It was a 5 minute drive to Corsano, which is home to a very nice restaurant and a supermarket with the friendliest staff. A little further afield (20 mins drive) is Siena. My husband is a confident driver and the roads didn't bother him, but be warned - the roads around Corsano are quite tricky and not for the faint-hearted. If you rent a car, be sure to get the mobile hotspot so that the GPS works even if you can't get cell phone reception. All in all, a wonderful stay and I would return in a heartbeat. Relaxing and confortable holidays in an awesome landscape

We were two couples with three kids in total and found the "La Corte" apartment super comfortable. There are three quite large beedrooms ( 1 with two single beds, another with 1 queen bed and single bed, and the last with a queen bed), each with its own bathroom with shower, a huge kitchen/dining room (with all the possible kitchenware) and a large living room. The place is really nicely decorated and with nice old furniture. There is a very nice garden space in one side and the other side (where two bedrooms are) has views of the pool/hills. We found this home extremely comfortable and nice for a group like us (I think they had other apartments of different sizes). The pool was great, very clean and with loads of space to play. We had three small children (7/5/4 years old) and they loved it so much that we almost didn't get out of the farm!! But, really we were so happy there that I didn't mind not to visit more of the area. Siena is very close and really easy to access. There was a very nice little Osteria in the village nearby and also many other restaurants in the area. The landscapes are so nice in this area that just driving around is a marvelous experience. The house is part of a really large estate and there are really nice walks and views of the rolling hills. We took the kids to "explore the area" at night with some lights and they loved it. There was also a place close by were you could ride horses but it was too warm to try that. The owners (both the parents of Francesca, and Francesca who manages the place) were extremely nice and friendly. We had nice conversations with them and they even gave us herbs, lettuce and other vegetables grown in the farm for our lunches :) real km 0 produce. They were very accommodating to our request ( extra child bed, arriving early and leaving late) as well as being great hosts! We were there during the World Cup (for the semifinal France-Belgium), and as there was a french family in another apartment and a french guy in our group they arranged a dinner for to watch the game together in the courtyard! They prepared the best Amatriciana I had for a long time (I live in Rome so I know my Amatriciana) and we had wine made in the farm. They were really really nice people! Long review, just to say that I totally recommend this place and this area of Italy, hope you get to enjoy it!

Just lovely

My husband and our friends (two other couples and an almost one year old) enjoyed our stay here so so much. The place is charming, functional, cozy yet beautiful, and the pool was just what we needed! I would recommend this place highly. Would have loved to learn more about the property etc but we all arrived at different times. If I get the chance to stay again I will definitely opt for the cooking class offered.

Hidden gem in the Tuscan hills

We are a Danish/ American couple with an 8 month old baby and we stayed in La Corte during June 2018. We typically go to Tuscany every year and have stayed at many different locations. So I can say with confidence that this location is unique and worth a visit! Our experience was extremely positive and the property exceeded all of our expectations. Francesca and her family live on the property and were always available for all of our questions. Here's what made this property truly exceptional: 1. The landscape and views from the property are AMAZING. 2. The accommodation is clean, beautifully decorated with old style Italian furniture and style. Plenty of space and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. 3. The owners are welcoming, helpful and live onsite. They are also very interested in getting to know their guests. 4. You are just 15 minutes away from the city of Siena so you can easily go for dinner or shopping 5. We had dinner cooked by the family the last night we were there and it was the best meal we had while in Tuscany! Don't miss this experience! 6. Finally, the POOL is a dream. Almost everyday we had the pool all to ourselves. Outdoor shower, lounge chairs and the most amazing views from the infinity pool. Perfect for those hot afternoons. We will be back!!!

Beautiful Landscaping

Pleasant stay in Tuscany. The accommodations were spacious with lots of sleeping areas and sitting area. It was more rustic with slightly older appliances. The host (Francesca) was gracious and spend a nice amount of time sharing the highlights of the area and getting to know us. She was awesome! The location is a bit remote but perfect for us as we were near a small village Ville di Carsano which had everything you need in 1s: one post office, one restaurant and one bank machine. That was perfect. It was quite and perfectly Tuscany.

Feel so lucky I found this!

I had no idea what to expect, and wow, this property is so, so lovely; it was exceeded only by the hospitality of its owners. We too asked for a dinner for the first night of the stay and it was the best meal of our entire stay in Italy. Everything at the property is maintained with much love and care by its owners who are very good, genuine people, who make every effort to help you experience the region and love it as much as they clearly do. We all felt very privileged to have stayed here and to have met this wonderful family. This stay was an intended break from the hustle and bustle of Rome and Florence. The villa is in a bucolic setting, it is peaceful and quiet and within a relatively close drive to Siena and many smaller hill towns. It was perfect for me and my family (w/2 young boys). Next time I’m skipping the big cities and just staying here.

Our family was thrilled with the ambiance and warm welcome we received. The family cooking class was definately the hignlight. We stayed 6 nights and should have stayed 2 weeks. Everything is easy access from this location, Siena, Pisa, Florence... We will definately try to come back again. Absolutely lovely.

Under the Tuscan Moon

Traveling in a group of six, this three bedroom apartment was perfect! The owners made us feel at home right from the start. Their lovely villa was our base for touring Sienna, San Gimignano, and Assisi. And the one day that we were not touring was peaceful and relaxing as we explored the farm and gardens of the villa. (we missed the pool opening by a few days, but lounged under the canopy). We opted to have a home cooked dinner on our last night, which was superb! We were far enough from civilization to be peaceful and quiet (the night sky is amazing!), but close to a small village with a good grocery store and excellent bakery. The local restaurants did not disappoint. We will be back one day to explore more of the region.

Située dans un décor de carte postale, cette demeure est idéalement située pour visiter Sienne et les autres villages pittoresques dans des délais raisonnables. De meme, des petits chemins sont accessibles dès la sortie de la propriété pour des ballades à pied tres agréables. Les hôtes sont de surcroît très sympathiques. Attention, ce charme envoûtant ne vous donnera plus envie d'en repartir ...

Wonderful stay at a wonderful property!

We loved our stay at La Corte- the three bedroom, three bath villa at Tenuta di Corsano. From the time we booked, Francesca was extremely responsive and helped us with anything we needed, whether it was info about travel in the area, events in Siena, dinner reservations, car rentals, etc. She helped make our planning process much easier. Once we got to La Corte, we fell in love with it. It's in a quiet, peaceful area with amazing views of the vineyards and hills. The pool is amazing and it provided us with a great way to cool off after a day of touring around the countryside. It was a great location for our travels around Tuscany- only about 20 minutes to Siena, and centrally located for tours around the wine regions. La Corte has three good sized bedrooms and bathrooms, and a huge kitchen/dining area as well as a separate living room area. We had our own table and chairs outside as well, and our kitchen overlooked the central courtyard where we took advantage of having a welcome dinner cooked by Liliana that night. We highly recommend taking them up on the offer - Liliana is an amazing cook and between the food, the atmosphere, and the company of the Mignone family, that dinner is one of our favorites from our entire 2 week trip to Italy. Liliana also offers cooking lessons- we didn't have time to participate in one, but I wish we did. We only stayed at La Corte for four days, but we could easily spend much more time there and hope to be able to come back some day. Nanni, Liliana, and Francesca make you feel as if you're a friend visiting them in their home rather than a guest at their vacation property. I highly recommend staying here- you will love it!
