«Absolutely gorgeous property which had us feeling like we were in a fairytale. I’m surprised the birds and squirrels didn’t come in and help me make my bed each day. The views are stunning and the peaceful surroundings are so relaxing. We had chefs for breakfast and dinner - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! «We were a 3 generation family of 10. Overall very good, a lovely pool and a games room with table tennis and table football. Rome was reached by train from Terni. ( but check ticket prices as it varies enormously depending on the train) Lake Bolsena, Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Bagnoregio and Cascade del Marmore are all easily reached by car. Village pizzeria is excellent. We drove from Rome Fiumicino Airport, very easy using Autostrada. My family all enjoyed the soft river rafting near Marmore. ...

«We were looking for an area off the normal tourist track and definitely found it here in Moricone. Beautiful country side, my only negative was there was a dreadful smell coming from the laundry, some form of sewer problem says the plumber in our group other than that the beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked if small but a lovely quiet location»

«Guido was very gracious assisting us whenever we had questions. Claudia, who met us at the square was very helpful & guided us to the property. Both were very responsive to any of our needs. A small car is a must for narrow roads in hilltop towns. The town was close by with a short up hill walk. I felt I was back in time, learning to just enjoy the simpleness and beauty of it all! «Great place to stay while visiting the Umbrian valley. Peaceful, quiet and convenient for visiting surrounding hill towns. If you have the opportunity to have a meal prepared and served by the personal chef known to the villa owner you must do so, the meal was absolutely fabulous! One of the highlights of our trip.»

«We had a fantastic week in this great house, a real gem! Two families (7 people in total), kids aged 2, 9 and 12. Beautiful views, a very nice pool and outdoor area/garden. It was during a heat wave but the altitude and slight wind and lots of opportunities for shadows made our days very nice. All amenities available and we had really good times including barbecues and pizza baking. Recommend also the the local osteria at the Belvedere in the Civitella.»
