«A lovely apartment in an old house in the center of the village. Easy to get into Alba and to shops. Good walking around the village as well as paths close by through the vineyeards. Great space and fantastic views. Very comfortable and everything you need. Hosts also live on property - and while our Italian is very limited and they have little English - we communicated OK and they were very friendly and generous.»

«The property itself is very nicely renovated and has a high quality touch and feel. Castino is nicely located to explore the Langhe. However, after renting holiday properties for almost 15 years we dare say that this one has let us down in several aspects. First and foremost it is not equipped sufficiently to serve 4 adults leave alone the 8 advertised. I.e. we only found a 2 cup Bialetti Mokka maker and a 4 cup filter coffee maker in the entire house; there were only 4 big coffee mugs for all ...

«We spent almost two weeks at this beautiful holiday home. The house was all we could dream of, and the hosts, Diane and Brian where so welcoming and kind. The children loved the place, the table tennis and the pool was great. The playroom is very well equipped, with books board games, and other toys. «Large well appointed house centrally located to many Piedmont sites. We enjoyed the balcony and mountain views. A few good restaurants within walking distance. Owner was quick with answers to questions. Highly recommend.»

«We were a group of 9 girls and had the best 3 days staying here. Alessio and Anna were incredible hosts and so helpful when we asked about arranging activities and taxis. «We chose this property for its great location - just a 3 minute walk from the old city centre of Alba. The 1-BR apartment was clean, bright and comfortable. Spacious for 2 persons. We liked that we could book a space for our car, which allowed us to easily explore nearby towns. And we were glad to be there to experience their wonderful Saturday market. Our hosts were very easy to work with, and very responsive. The only suggestion we'd like to make is for a full-length mirror. We highly ...
