«This is such a unique property and it was a privilege to stay there. They have a horse on the property steps away from the front door of the ranch house. This was the nicest horse I have ever met. The surrounding area is beautiful and Joshua Tree NP is a 20 min drive away. Awesome experience. Private location and cool items throughout the house.»

«We can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Volcano Vortex! It had the cozy familiarity of a trip to a beloved aunt’s house you’ve been visiting since childhood. The house has everything you’d need on a trip to the desert. There’s even a friendly goat right in the backyard (she was very quiet and polite) as well as a sweet donkey. «Our experience in Kingman was EXCELLENT! The host family was so nice and all the animals were great. The goats had treats to feed them and the horses were beautiful.The location is perfect for site seeing in all directions. Oatman is always fun and the west rim Grand Canyon is super cool. The Hualapai Mountains are beautiful if you go to the Hualapai Mountain lodge the food and people are great. I would recommend this family friendly place to anyone looking for a great place to stay. »
