«Family of four and two dogs - came in to do some hiking and visiting with nearby family. The home was immaculate, the yard had a great trail for the dogs. The patio was a great place to eat and play games until it got chilly. We would stay again.»

«Very quiet and cute country house. Love the two living room areas. Great bedrooms, we didn't use all the bunk beds, but if you needed to that would be awesome. I wish there were 2 showers, but we made due. Fire pit is a great idea and plenty of room for outdoor games.»

«The house and property is very clean. Lots of space. We didn't get to enjoy the decks due to the windy colder weather. The bedroom on the main level was nice for those not able to handle the old farmhouse steep steps to the other bedrooms. Ron was a great host by stopping by when we arrived to introduce himself and answer any questions.»

«Dan was super nice and accommodating. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, look elsewhere. It you want a large, clean farmhouse, this place is for you. Being a working family farm, expect to see a tractor or two going in and out. We really enjoyed sitting on the wrap around porch with a book watching the cows. «We came to do some biking in the area. I was concerned we had booked too far from Lanesboro, but it was perfect. The drive is beautiful from there Houston has a really nice bike trail, too! We visited several towns in the area and this home was a great place to come back to each day. We stayed our trip at the Houston Visitor Center, since we got to town early. «This is my absolute favorite place to stay in Minnesota. The property is beautiful, incredibly clean, comfortable, and luxurious. Every time we stay here it feels like a vacation. Our dogs could not be happier staying here and we have made so many good memories each time we stay here. Downtown Stillwater is only 6 minutes away and there are many wonderful restaurants and shops. The hosts are outstanding and always go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need and more.»
