I have to say, this is literally the best bang-for-your-buck hotel stay in the greater San Jose area! From it's prime location next to the freeway and Great Mall, yet away from the San Jose hoopla and traffic, my family often chooses this hotel as an alternative to staying in a busy SJ location when visiting our son at SJSU. The double queen suite is more than adequate for a family of 5, especially if there are 3-4 kids--my teen son who is 5'10 could comfortably share the pullout couch with one of his younger 10-12 yo siblings and the queen beds can comfortably fit 2-3 kids under the age of 12 (if they aren't wild sleepers!). Also, the in-room kitchenette is so handy and provides all a family would need to cook their own meals or reheat leftovers as they see fit. There is also a full sized fridge, dishwasher and double closet with a safe! I would say if there's any room for improvement, both my daughter and I both said on separate occasions, "Where's the full length mirror?!" So, if you're reading this Element, adding full length mirrors to the inside of the closet door or outside of the bathroom doors would be a welcome addition!
As far as the grounds and service goes, very happy with the plentiful onsite parking, the hotel cleanliness, the front desk staff was very patient, friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was extensive and had something for everyone--the automatic coffee machine was a huge bonus! I am definitely coming here again!
