«Very clean and new looking. We took all 3 rooms on the first floor and found it met our needs perfectly. Comfortable with ample tea and coffee making facilities and a nice communal fridge with bottled water and fresh milk. The owners were super friendly and welcoming and even gave us a lift to the nearby tram stop as the trains were on strike. We certainly would come back.»

«Lovely..nice & modern apartment..well cleaned but had only 2 tiny heaters on the wall. It was a square type. Thes 1 in the living room and 1 in the the bedroom..with not alot of heat coming out..there was a waste. There was a wooden burning stove but the wood supplied didnt last long & then it was £5 for another bag..alternatively the wood could be purchased at a store in the village but it was very windy & wet to go out»

«Pearl, the proprietor runs Kirk Lea on her own after her husband's heart attack and she does a great job. The room was lovely, clean & tidy though with a bit of dated decor. Comfortable bed and the breakfast was top notch or should I say top nosh. Would definitely stay here again but the owner is looking to sell as Pearl is looking to move and quit running a b&b. An easy 8.5/10 »

«A dedicated block within the Huddersfield University student accommodation. An impressive development with a shop, gym and good bus service to the town. The apartment consisted of six bedrooms, each en-suite, with a spacious communal area of living room and well-appointed kitchen. Each area was clean and tidy. There were other guests in the apartment where I stayed but there was little noise, though doors shut with a bang. The reception staff were delightful and couldn't have been more helpful. ...

«The property is very nice with laundry and games room available. When I arrived the room was clean, but there were no equipment to keep it clean during my week long stay. Kitchen has only utensils, no plates or pans. It does have oven, stove, microwave and kettle. Staff were friendly but my check in experience was horrible. First it was moved later on the day, then I ended up waiting over an hour after the new time outside the building in the cold and dark as the instructions were to wait ...

«Above a busy and noisy kebab shop, noise,smell and heat until 4am, booked 2 nights only stayed 1. If it was £30 night would be fine but not £60 »

«there was mold all over the bath over the toilet and over the shower and people coued see into the bath. the floor on the room did make so much noice that i choudent sleep since the people that was staying in the other rooms was walking around and the rooms are legit in the middle of the party street so this is not a hostel/hotel i can recomand to someone that need sleep and hygine.»
