«A nice stay. Staff were really helpful; particularly accommodating food allergies. Pets were welcome in the pub itself as well as the room that had been booked. Nice little added extras like dog treats in the room and dog beds provided. Breakfast was nice too - hot options + selection of cereals and toast.»

«The lounge area is spacious but also homely. The modern, open plan dining area is light and airy and looks out on to the garden. The accommodation was well appointed but the highlight was the attitude of the staff members; in particular, Sarah was delightful and could not have been more helpful. I would not hesitate to return if circumstances brought us back to this beautiful area.»

«Loved the old 17th century beams in the rooms and the uneven floors. Property was very quiet - even with the Football World Cup semi-final on while we were there. Staff were all incredibly helpful and loved the breakfast. 100% recommend and would love to take my dog next time as they are very dog friendly (they get a sausage at breakfast!).»

«Delightful visit to The George and Dragon! Friendly and obliging staff, great pub, room and breakfast. Rooms renovated to a high standard and beautifully furnished. Loved the windows which could be opened to cool the room and bonus bath to relax in.
Friendly bar staff when we had a drink in the pub before bed and lovely lady served us at breakfast. Really impressed and highly recommend a stay. 10/10»
