Under new management, Chloe & Ross headed a family (it’s more than a workforce or team) of caring, compassionate, and friendly souls who make this the perfect place to stay in the area.
From a warm and friendly welcome at check-in through evenings spent at the bar chatting with the family, to a genuinely emotional goodbye upon check-out, and, I have never felt more welcomed.
With just six rooms, each unique, it gives the hosts time to get to know those who stay.
That’s how it feels, not like a cold chain hotel, but that you’re checking in to stay with friends.
Nothing seemed too much trouble, and the food.. Wow. I expected a burger, fish & chips and maybe a curry on the menu.
But Morgan, the Chef has gone to great lengths to curate a culinary experience to tantalise the tastebuds and when the stomach reaches its limit, the eyes and the mind will still want to carry on, such is the delight of the cooking.
I’ve already booked for next year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed because after any long day out, what more could you want, but to come home to family.
