On the plus side the beds were comfortable, staff were helpful and there was plenty of parking. The negatives: the room was really grubby, the pillows were hard and the beds were only partially made. We’d booked a room for 3 people but it was only resourced for 2. The fairly full cigarette butt container just outside our door wasn’t pleasant.

It felt a little utilitarian but it had all the things you need. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable for me. Room and bathroom where clean. The restaurant cusine is chinese and it doubles as the local take away chinese shop. Bit dissapointed for a single traveler that there were no half and half dishes available but the food I had was good. Staff were friendly and helpfull.

Easy and fast check in.
Easy and Fast check in, also ordered a meal to be sent to my room. Ute was able to be parked at my door. Convenient to bakery across the road for morning coffee before heading off on work meetings. Recommend stay here.

Floors werent cleaned, aircon hardly worked and filters were full of mould

Good price and amazing food
A gem of a place to stay with a good price. Restaurant onsite has amazing Asian food, cold beer and a relaxing atmosphere. Pub is within 1 min walking distance. Onsite parking at your door and friendly helpful staff. Coffee and breakfast to the door in the morning was a bonus. I will continue to stay here on my business trips to Middlemount.

Clean but lacked usual amenities
The staff were friendly enough, the room was spotless. Our car had to be parked away from the room. There was no toaster or microwave, jug only. The booking was for two but there was only 1 cup and one towel. Both were quickly rectified by staff but it seemed very odd. There was an internet connection if you asked but no information inthe room about services available. Clearly set up for a mine worker and not set up for tourists or overnighters.

Very nice rooms
Welcoming staff, nice rooms. Looks basic on the outside but was surprised when I saw inside. Staff unlocked my room door for me and presented the room to me and made sure it was ok before leaving me to settle in. They also did a room upgrade for me at not extra cost which was lovely. Will recommend :)
