«Excellent location for our needs! Secluded, peaceful and quiet, but close enough to the Blue Ridge Pkwy making travel easy. The kitchen is fully stocked with whatever is needed to prepare meals. The front porch was my favorite part of the house, so relaxing and restful. Mattresses were comfy. The Host is easy to communicate with for any questions that arise and is open and appreciative of feedback and observations regarding possible corrections for future stays. Love the beautiful, natural area! ...

«Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Hot tub was clean. Deck was in great condition. There was a gate on upper deck so our dogs were able to enjoy being outdoors with us on the deck in the evenings. Great look out just up the road at the Blackrock park/viewing point. Communication with owners was prompt and very friendly. »

«We had a wonderful time at Sutton's Roost! The house fit our family's needs perfectly and we greatly appreciated the ease of communication with Jennifer, our host. The only reason I gave only 3 stars on accuracy of property listing is that the pictures are somewhat dated. The house is considerably older than it looks in the pictures. Nevertheless, it was perfect for us and everybody in our family loved the house. We had a great WG vacation in your home. Thank you!»

«We just returned from a long weekend here in July 2026. We had 6 adults and 2 small kids and the house couldn’t have been any better for us. It was especially perfect for our kids (7 and 4 years old). The house was equipped with everything you could need/want. Bedrooms were all located on the first floor and living space was on the second level. The house had a hot tub and sauna on site and a short walk up driveway, there was a pool and playground.
