Location: Lake James is very large, deep lake, but with state park and camping facilities on a large portion, the houses are limited compared to other lakes and crowds are very light. «We loved everything about our stay at Mt.Admiral’s retreat! The home is very clean, kitchen is fully stocked, and the view is spectacular. Black Mountain is a quaint mountain town with great coffee and restaurants, shopping, and hiking nearby. This was the perfect retreat to reconnect while playing games, reading, and chatting by the porch fire pit or in the hot tub. The hosts are friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and helpful. We hope to return soon!»

«We really enjoyed our stay at this mountain home! The home has useable land around it which meant we were able to throw the football and run around some. My kids enjoyed running up and down the small hill in the backyard. The best part about the yard is the firefly show that happens at night. Impressive! The inside of the home is comfortable and clean. The huge windows in the family room were perfect for watching a thunder storm move through the area. We would definitely visit again.»

The location was a bit tough to find, as we got lost using Google Maps but that's the price of booking an exclusive house. I would stay here again and recommend for future guests.»
