Dette hotellet har nok vært flott en gang i tiden, men etterslepet på vedlikehold og oppgraderinger gjør at det ikke når opp til mine forventninger. Bilder på expedia.no fremstiller hotellet til bedre enn det er. Jeg booket rom her av følgende grunner: LOKASJON Ikke noe å si på dette. Sentralt plassert på Ocean drive, nært til alt uten å være for nærme støyen til utelivet. STRANDA 2 solsenger og parasol inkludert på Esterbans place 5 min gange fra hotellet. STANDARD og RENHOLD Her skuffet det. På langt nær alle rommene er oppgradert, selv om bildene på expedia.no gir et annet inntrykk. Det første rommet svarte på ingen måte til forventningene. Det var utdatert både i farger, vedlikehold og funksjon. I tillegg var det dårlig renhold, sengetøyet var skittent og det fremsto ikke som det var rengjort for ny gjest. Etter å ha gitt tilbakemelding på dette, ble vi oppgrader til Pent house suite som holdt en mye bedre standard og var nylig renovert. Dessverre bar også denne preg av manglende vedlikehold/renhold på det som går ut over det daglige renholdet. Flekker og merker på veggene, kalkrester og rust på krom i dusjen. Første dagen ble rommet aldri rengjort så det er tydelig at hotellet sliter med rutiner. TRENINGSROM Her ble jeg skuffet igjen. Et utendørs avlukke med kardiomaskiner og noen løse vekter. Lite til styrketrening. GRATIS KOMPLETT FROKOST (silver /gold): Her fikk vi voucher på $20 som på ingen måte dekket en nøktern frokost når service og skatter ble lagt på.

If you notice that plaques on the wall are dated for 2008 and 2010. Which is over 10 years ago. The property looks like something that would be nice 14 years ago. But I’m 2024 these rooms and the facility need to be updated, even down to the decor. The floors were clammy in our room. I will say the bedding was clean and that seemed to be more of a priority for the cleaning staff (which is not a bad thing). However the rest of the room just didn’t seem clean. I wiped down with a lysol wipe in the bathroom and sink area. There was plenty of dirt and grime. The location is right at the beach. However, that’s probably the only good thing about the hotel….the staff also were helpful when needed.

Overall the hotel needs updating. Paid for a suite with a hot tub and jets didn’t work. One member of the front desk staff is very rude and talks down to everyone. The restaurant and the bar staff are great. We probably wouldn’t stay here next year when we visit.

We really enjoyed having the jacuzzi on our balcony but what we didn't like was when the front desk decided to take their break and we couldn't get a hold of anyone to fill our jacuzzi. We are not allowed to fill them ourselves and you have to call for service between 9am-9pm. We called the front desk at 840pm with no answer. We walked down to the front desk at 850pm and no one was there. We waited and the front desk attendant came back at 858pm and when we asked for the jacuzzi to be filled we were told that it was too late and they refused to help us "per there policy". That was very disappointing. Other than that, we had no other issues or concerns with our stay.

The bad- But the hotel is very dated. Top lock on door was broken, buttons in elevator was broken, floors felt crummy, bathroom had hair on the counters, some random holes in the walls. Looked like someone tried to pry the slider door open. The hot tub in our room had duct tape in it covering up old damage. There is not a “do not disturb” or “privacy” door handle. Housekeeping comes regardless. The good- Great location. Walking distance to everything. Shopping, food, beach and entertainment. I love that the reservation included a glass of champagne, bike rental, beach chairs and umbrellas in a private beach section, and $50 credit to the hotel restaurant, The Front Porch. Their food and iced coffee is amazing. The hang out area for the hotel is great vibes too.

Excellent location and an average hotel. The breakfast on the site is advertised as Free however it is not. You get 2 vouchers per room irrespective of the occupants and you still have to pay taxes on top. Restaurant was good but was pricey hence we had to always pay and end up it not being a free breakfast at all. Also the Gym is non functional but advertised and part of resort fee. Stay wise, no major issues however property can do with a refurb

This hotel is in a great location. But the property is very dated, and the rooms are all of just okay. Needs a major renovation! Some of the staff are friendly, but some seem put out by having to deal with guests. Maybe that's just a Miami thing, but it wasn't welcoming.

Initially I placed in room which was literally located behind elevators. The entrance to the room was in the main hall, but the room curved around behind the bank of elevators and shared a wall with the elevator shaft which meant listening to elevators all the time. Finally, thanks to Expedia, I was moved to a different room. Ms. Serge from reception was always nice and helpful. Hotel has a good swimming pool with heated water. Location is excellent close to the ocean. Hotel provides beach towels and free chairs and umbrella at the beach. Room was cleaned only once after I asked several times to clean it.

Property was beautiful. Room was clean everyday we were gone. Elevators were messed up towards the last day of my stay. One elevator was outlet of service. Staff was meh, in terms of friendliness. Overall it was great experience.

I liked the privacy that our room had, AND THAT IS ABOUT ALL THAT I LIKED! The food was less than desirable. Breakfast was absolutely inedible... I have never seen chunks in a hollandaise sauce before... that was memorable and utterly disgusting. The breakfast potatoes were grey and slimy, I am sure they were made 3 days before they were served. I CANNOT believe that I paid over $100 for a breakfast that was so GROSS and inedible! And our server was nowhere to be seen and never asked if the food was okay. Which it was not, at all whatsoever!!! So Bad!!! I would never recommend anyone to eat there, and it was freezing! Inside and out!!! And I live in Florida! So freaking BAD!

Great location the back of the property goes out on ocean drive. Staff was very friendly. Security on premises at all times. The property needs an update. Rooms are very dated and one elevator was down.

I absolutely loved my stay at the ZOcean Hotel. The staff was amazing, the property location was perfect for heading to the beach or if you just wanted to hang out by the pool. It is a 10 out 10 for me!

People there was so rude , not helpful and parking garage it’s expensive compared with other places and not careful for my car .

Room was not ready. Photos are misrepresented. Not clean. Filthy and empty jacuzzi on balcony. Check in says 3, room was not ready until 4:30. Never again.

The higher rooms were quite nice. I don’t know about the basic ones. Great service and the staff were very nice and responsive.
