I really enjoyed this hotel. The restaurant food was amazing. Drinks were delicious. The style was really cute. It was located right across the street from the beach. Shopping was all right in the area and it was right on the main strip with most definitely return.

Location was perfect, staff is very helpful, Marianna was so friendly and very kind , another lady , cannot remember her, also was so nice , helped us with room problem, was so kind and friendly🌹🌹🌹i am very thankful, will go there soon.good people, good service, everything was good, thank you !!

The property is located in a super convenient and walkable area by the South Beach. We were there right before the spring break when Miami Beach restricts traffic and closes the Ocean Drive. We were able to park nearby the hotel, and we ended up parking at a public parking garage 15min walk away from the hotel. However, the hotel and room itself are pretty clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay.

Don’t get me started. I’m still waiting for the GM, Russ, to contact me regarding why they were only able to remove a made-up “resort fee” after a Series of Unfortunate Events befell both of the rooms I occupied. It’s convenient; it looks nice from afar; but the place is falling apart, and the powers that be do not care. That’s not how you treat a historical building. What. A. Shame.

Let us check in way early when we had no other place to go with luggage. They even offered to hold our bags if they couldn’t get us checked in early. Room was clean and nicely updated.

This such an AMAZING place to stay!! Talk about art deco in its finest!! You won't be disappointed at all when it comes to this hotel. The staff is so awesome and really made the stay even better than it was thanks to Wyatt, wes, and the cool a** bartender !!! And the elevator...I won't ruin the surprise... Thank you colony for the one e of a lifetime stay!

Très bien situé sur ocean drive. Difficile de trouver mieux placé. Serviettes pas propres. Manque de portes serviettes, porte manteau, cintres. Passe de douche à disposition après le check out.

There is no security. Anyone can walk in to the hotel room area. My room was right by the entrance and it was scary. The fridge in the room was not working. The tv stopped working well, tried to reboot, didn’t help. The room is very very tiny. The reservation was non-refundable so I had to stay in the this hotel. The Staff was very nice.

They staff was amazing and helped my dad who has mobility issues. Beyond friendly. The property is next to a nice area but rooms faced building walls. There was some sort of delivery that went upstairs that took over a half hour and woke me at 630 after getting on very late and having to leave early. Restraint onsite but prices were pretty high except for a very small breakfast that could be made a whole breakfast if you paid 5 dollars more. The experience was frustrating but staff were amazing and it would have been fine if I wasn't woken up again and again

Likes: Steps from the beach, lots of great patios and restaurants and stores within 10 minute walk, great vibe being located right on Ocean Dr. Location is a 10. Desk staff was friendly. Dislikes: Hotel is old and dated. Paint peeling from walls, rooms are tiny (but clean), bathroom was tiny and damp. Our view was of a weathered concrete wall with windows staring directly at us from 10 feet away. Had to keep blinds closed. AC barely kept room cool. Overall the place was ok simply for the location. Would probably look for a different place next time.

Ideal situation and recently renovated
An overall excellent expérience. Only missing a courtesy coffee maker, a chair. Warning : a resort fee is mandatory, and I do not feel like this is christal clear on hotel.com. Currently 10 dollars per person per day. Also note room cleaning is only every two days.

Great weekend trip!
Mariana at the front desk was amazing! She was so kind and was able to accommodate us sooner since we arrived in Miami before check in. The hotel itself has an older charm to it, and very convenient with a 24 hr CVS just next door and restaurants at every turn. We also had a nice view from our room. I'd definitely stay here again.

Uppdated Classic art deco hotel
The hotel is uppdated, so taken into account that its a historical hotel and there for the rooms are small, as well as the bathroom, elevator etc its as good as can be expected. If you like it big and modern -choose another hotel!
