One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Avoid at all costs.
This hotel is in a shocking state. From the moment you walk in, the overwhelming smell of humidity and dampness hits you everywhere — hallways, rooms, common areas. It’s not subtle; it’s constant and unpleasant, and it gives the impression of a building that has been neglected for years.
The room was old, worn out, and clearly lacking any meaningful maintenance. Visible signs of deterioration, tired furniture, and a general feeling of dirtiness made it impossible to feel comfortable or relaxed. This is not “aged charm” — it’s decay.
The restaurant was just as bad. The same stale, musty smell lingered there, which immediately kills any appetite. The food options were extremely limited and completely unappealing, both in presentation and quality. Eating there felt more like a chore than a service.
What truly made the experience unacceptable was the staff. Rude, unprofessional, and confrontational. Any concern or complaint was met with an attitude of “take it or leave it,” as if the hotel was doing the guests a favor by allowing us staying there. There was zero effort to be helpful, accommodating, or even polite.
This property is badly managed, poorly maintained, and staffed by people who seem annoyed by the presence of guests. It does not deserve its name, its price point, or your time. We had not choice but to stay as the payment was non-refundable. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.
