«We enjoyed our short but very sweet night at Palazzo Privatera. We arrived on the heels of Cyclone Henry, so much of the town was shut down, but our host Alfio was extremely insightful and helpful. He showed us around this mideivel treasure, hosted a wonderful breakfast, and made our stay so comfortable! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the amazing property and town, but hope to return in the future to enjoy more of Mt Etna’s beauty and vineyards!»

«Good directions from hosts on getting there. Some of the streets are very narrow and should be avoided. Great old town. Bakery next door. Fascinating walk around the castle with amazing view. It also leads to a charming wine bar & wine shop. Great view of Etna from the terrace. Good food in town.»
