«Immediately upon entering found a cockroach in the house. Reached out to host and she could careless. Told me i needed to sweep it up and dispose of it. Took a chance with a different vrbo because our normal spot was taken this trip to havelock and boy did everyone in my party regret it. This house is beyond gross. Every single person with me asked multiple times about the normal place we rent and how this one was much worse quality and the house being gross. Not to mention all the shotty work ...

«The host is very friendly and helpful. We had some issues with the door lock and he was able to reset the lock instantly over the phone during check in. The rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen are very clean with more than enough supplies, although the kitchen plates are all plastic and worn. The retreat is very cozy and is only 7 minutes from the ferry, very convenient. We had a good sleep.»
