«This is an amazing house for a large family or a few families! Plenty of space to spread out both indoor and out. Would definitely stay here again. 1 minor downfall - the beds are not that comfortable. Besides that the house was fully stocked and lovely!»

«This was our second time traveling to the area and staying at this house. Great place to stay. House was clean, lots of room for multiple guests. Nice pool and hot tub in the yard. There’s also a nice covered outdoor patio with a TV for hanging out, outside. Owner is very responsive and good to deal with. I will definitely stay again when in the area.»

«This is a lovely home set far back on a country Road. It sits in the middle of the forest and then you can see the Potomac river below you from the deck. We thoroughly enjoyed using our Merlin app to document all of the birds that we were hearing. There were Baltimore orioles, fluttering about. It was very comfortable and the perfect place for a bunch of bird lovers!»

We felt privileged to stay in this home as it allowed us to actually feel the history of Western Maryland and the enormity of the Civil War. «Hiccup getting in the property and took a while to reach anyone. Never received email with code and was unable to reach host by phone, called vrbo customer service who seemed to be confused that we did not book through Expedia. Eventually we received calls and messages from the host. Next time I will be sure to have check in email before leaving.»

«Overall a good stay at a newer property. The biggest issue was definitely the lack of window coverings. Many of the windows have none. And even those that do, the coverings are very thin and don't block light at all. No opportunity to take a decent nap, and come summer it would be awful with how early the sun rises. The host did provide kitchen essentials, towels, tooth brushes and extra bedding, all if needed. Quite neighborhood. And overall great place If you have multiple guest in your booking. «We really enjoyed the property. It was clean. Internet worked well. Washer and dryer was nice. Too cold to enjoy the hot tub for me. My suggestions are a new shower head, thank goodness I didn’t have to wash my hair. The flow is too spread out and not enough to efficiently rinse as you shower. Second is a cheaper Kcup machine would be nice. Traveling with ground coffee is not really ideal for a quick trip away. Third thing I suggest is two beach towels (minimum) for the use of the hot tub. «I surprised my partner with a weekend getaway for his birthday to this little cabin. Even though it rained all weekend, we loved every second here. The covered/screened in porch made it still possible to sit outside, and the view waking up in the morning was just so pretty. The super long driveway was nice to take a walk down as well. Perfect place to unwind. It was clean, and comfortable.»
