«Our stay at the Thompson Shanghai was generally very comfortable. The room was spacious, modern, and the beds were very comfortable.
However, considering the relatively high room rate, we were quite disappointed that breakfast was not included. At this price level, we expected breakfast to be part of the stay, so this was the main downside for us.»

«I have stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. Overall, great experience. 30-40 min walk to the Shanghai Expo Center ( about 2.5 miles) which I did every day forth and back as a good exercise. Room price is good. Clean rooms. Plenty of free water bottles at the lobby, on the floors and at the rooms, Regular coke and orange juice from the room refrigerator is free as well and gets refilled daily. Great breakfast buffet. Not many restaurants around in the walking distance. 30-35 min drive to the ...

«Within 24 hours, we experienced multiple issues that made our stay extremely disappointing.
The Wi-Fi was complicated to connect to, and reception spent 10 minutes trying to connect my phone without success. No staff we encountered spoke English, there were no English-speaking TV channels, and communication was difficult throughout.
We booked a room for two people, yet only one breakfast was included. Even worse, we were initially refused a second room key card. We were told there was another ...
