I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the experience my children and I had during our stay at the Huntington Hilton on Thursday, February 19th, 2026. As someone who has been coming to this hotel since childhood, it pains me to say that this visit, which was meant to be a cherished staycation with my own children, was nothing short of a nightmare. I had always trusted the Huntington Hilton to provide a memorable experience, but after this stay, I am left questioning if I can ever trust this hotel again.
Before booking our reservation through Expedia, I called the hotel directly to confirm that all amenities were operational, including breakfast the pool and the jacuzzi, as this was a key part of our stay. I was reassured that everything was running as usual, and I excitedly made plans for a relaxing getaway with my two young daughters.
Unfortunately, from the moment we arrived, things began to go wrong. Upon entering our room, we immediately noticed that it was freezing cold. When I tried to adjust the thermostat, it became clear that it was broken and would not turn on. I called the front desk, and after waiting 40 minutes with no response, I called again. After over an hour and a half, my two daughters, who had been eagerly anticipating swimming in the pool, were growing restless from waiting in the room.
