We did not end up staying here as we were canceled on after waiting over 2.5 hours before someone finally let us know that unfortunately the room would not be available for that night. My partner and I had just travelled all day internationally and were anxious to check in a have a shower and rest. Check in was at 3:00pm. Someone called and let me know due to cleaning the apartment wouldn’t be ready until 3:45pm. At 4:00pm I went to the Easy Mart to pick up the keys. The Easy Mart was where I was instructed to pick them up- it was alongside a busy road and we had our luggage. The clerk asked for my Pin which wasn’t sent to me. I called and they said the cleaners were probably back on their way to return the keys. I asked if they would please call me when they were ready. I received no calls from them the rest of the evening. Instead I received an email at 4:19pm stating that the Cleaning would be another 40 minutes. Every communication from this point was myself reaching out. At 5:15pm I called once again and was put on hold for a long time with no help. Again, I’m alongside the busy road with my luggage. I rang again and reached someone who put me on hold and then when they returned said that “Unfortunately the Apartment would NOT be available at all for tonight- but I could check in tomorrow at 3:00pm.” At this stage I am completely frustrated. I’d be waiting outside on hold for a “cleaning” to be completed and was then in fact actually I couldn’t check in at all.
