«Lake Avant was in my opinion 2nd to none. My family of 30 and I enjoyed the experience of the lodge and cottage. They were both top notch clean and had everything that we needed in the kitchen. The youth enjoyed playing pickle ball and the other games on the grounds and inside. The weather was nice for first coupe days so the younger children enjoyed the outside. «My husband, 13 month old and I all had a great stay on Lake Norman! We were only there for a couple nights for a short getaway but could have definitely stayed longer to enjoy the area more. «We had a wonderful time. Casa Del Rio met all of our needs. Home was clean and ready to go. Plenty of dishes, pans and kitchen equipment. Air conditioning was spot on. The view was wonderful. Something for everyone. Could easily dock the boat. Had deep water. The only thing that could be difficult for those with disabilities is that there are quite a few stairs. Charming cabin with nice views of the lake, comfortable beds, lots of pillows & cozy blankets, plenty of towels, fun fire pit for s'mores, grill worked well, nice covered dock area with chairs and tables. «Not a shack but a well appointed bungalow which faced Lake Norman. The sunrises were beautiful. The bungalow was clean with comfortable bedding. The bathroom is small but upgraded with a waterfall shower head. The living space was open and suitable for my family and dog. The outdoor space was extraordinary. We ate outside and enjoyed all the decks. The fenced in yard was terrific for my dog. Very enjoyable experience.»

«Although we didn’t get to enjoy the property very much it was really beautiful. The lake views are gorgeous. The suite is private and just as described. Really comfy bed, nice towels, coffee and coffee supplies. Dawn is really nice and we talked to her a couple times while we were there.
