«Excellent host, very quick to respond.This was a great experience and one that we will do again. We had several unexpected happenings, but we still enjoyed ourselves. The house/camp could use some work, not fully as it looked in the pictures. The location is almost the end of the road so the boating traffic can get overwhelming when fishing. «We rented this VBRO property for a weekend to bring our boat on the Tickfaw River for the annual Fireman's Fund Poker Run. Property is very close (maybe 100 yards) to the Riverside Marina which has a nice boat launch, fuel, and store. We were able to launch the boat the bring the truck and trailer back to the VBRO. «The unit was fine for a place to stay. The property manager is slow with check-in instructions and we never received any check out instructions. The manger is absolutely unavailable after normal business hours for any issues that come up, as we found out. The house had been updated recently but the workmanship was of mixed quality. The new flooring was laid over an obviously rotted subfloor juding by how springy the floor was when walking on it.»

«To begin with, the write up for this rental property was advertised as a Charming 3-bedroom house. The 3 bedroom was correct, but it was far from charming. There was a lot of deferred maintenance on the property, from cracked broken floor tiles in the bathroom, which one could cut their bare feet on, the floor boards in the dining area that were loose and lifting up, a back storm door that was broken and would not close properly to the walls that were in need of a fresh coat of paint.
