«We recently stayed here as we were flying in overseas for a wedding. The location was perfect, however that is the only positive. Sadly the listing was nothing as described. Communication was appalling ,we prebooked this almost a year in advance. Days before we were due to arrive I reached out and received nothing. «The air conditioner was broken and there was no heating from the second day and it was cold.
The battery of the electronic key ran out and I couldn't put it in for about 2 hours.
I contacted the owner in a hurry, but it was a pity that he prioritised his errands and did not respond immediately. ( It may be normal in New Zealand, but it was very uneasy for people who came from abroad for the first time)»

«Check in was terrific and the space is very nice and as pictured. Very short drive to Matamata which was a really nice town. Hobbiton is of course also very close. Julie was very personable and her baked goods provided in the room were amazing! A great stay passing through the north island.»

«This is a lovely and well equipped cottage though was a little chilly the night with a heavy frost (until we located the heater!)
It was also a bit confusing to locate, as it is up several driveways, past other houses, but we got there without too much trouble!»
