«This is a good and very central place to stay. Clean and comfortable bed. I met a nice and friendly man who gave me the keys. There is a common area with television and place to eat and sofa. My room had a small balcony. A kitchen to cook and make coffee! Overall very good!»

«It’s a very nice cave hotel that is very conveniently located to explore the old Matera on foot. It is safe and quiet at night. There is also a very good restaurant right outside the door Dominica was absolutely wonderful. She came to meet me all the way at the airport, even though my flight was delayed and I didn’t arrive until the evening. She also gave me a detailed information on what to see in the town, the most important landmarks, where to go for nice views, where to go out to eat, etc. ...

«I really liked that there was everything you could need to be comfortable. You can tell there is someone considerate behind the administration. There was abundant drinking water, teas and coffee, water boiler, cups, etc in the common area. In the bathroom, shower cap, soap, and other amenities, enough towels for all the guests (this is not always the case). The family room was great with two rooms and ac in each one. «Vertskapet var de nydligste menneskene vi har møtt. De hentet min sønn og meg på flyplassen(€50). De snakket ikke engelsk men vi brukte en app som oversatte det fungerte perfekt. De hjalp oss å booke bor på restauranter, og tok oss til og med rundt på en kveldstur hvor Angelo fortalte min sønn om byens historie samtidig som de viste oss hvordan vi kom oss til togstasjon, hvor den beste gelato var osv. De gjorde oppholdet vårt magisk. Vi kommer tilbake til både La Maison og denne nydelige byen. ...
