«Thymus Residence is just such a different place to stay with breakfast taken just next door to our accommodation in a former medieval church. So many interesting features in the immediate area. We chose a cava suite at Thymus for 3 nights. Simply had to have one of the former cave rooms if you’re going to Matera! Such a different experience to staying in a regular room. But while still visibly a cave architecturally, it had every convenience to a high standard. Absolutely amazing.»

«Nydelig rom og gode senger. Fantastisk beliggenhet og hjelpsomt personell. Parkering til en rimelig penge i bakgården. Dette er ikke et vanlig hotell, men en etasje med rom inne i en større bygning. Rommet hadde kjøleskap med kald drikke. Frokosten ble servert på en kafé i gangavstand. Anbefales varmt! »

«We had a wonderful stay here in Matera. Check in was super easy, the rooms were very nice, very clean, and the shower was great! I appreciate that they don’t use harsh products on the sheets or anything because some places really do. Not here! The location is great, just steps from the main square which is incredibly lovely. Parking was really easy in a nearby underground parking that is reserved for hotel and apartment guests, about a 4 minute stroll from the apartment. Cheap at 20 for 24 ...

«The location of this room was very close to Sassi. With a convenient place to park the car. Easy walk to the entire town as well as restaurants in the area. Our host was very helpful the day we checked. Much larger room than most places in Europe. Bed was a little uncomfortable but they we’re changing the mattress Loved it! »

«Quick walk to Sassi, the castle, and breakfast in the common dining area. If you prefer a bus tour he has options for that as well. We found many food options within 5 minutes and a small fruit shop across the street. »

«I loved my stay at La Gravina. it's owner is extremely welcoming and offers us suggestions in the region. We were alone during our stay, so the experience was more personalized. There are horses and also their adorable dog Diana and their cat who just ask to be cuddled. The children loved Diana and still talk about her! The owners are great, and the breakfast is simple and delicious. The Masseria is well positioned, set back from the town without being far away. THE ONLY negative point is ...

«Had excellent experience here. The EasyPark app was nice for parking in front of the room. There is a grocery store is across the street and the walking zone begins across the street s well. Breakfast was served in our spacious room. Many restaurants and cafes to choose from and many paths from to explore. Highly recommended!»
