«We really enjoyed our stay with Lovina and her family. It was just what we needed to acclimate us to the pleasures of Tahiti before we set sail on the Aranui. There were four adults so each couple was able to enjoy their on Kingsize bed and private bath. The house was well equipped and Lovina provided transportation on arrival and departure. We did have a small problem connecting on arrival at the airport due to lack of internet but it wasn’t anything major. I would definitely recommend her ...

«We had a short layover in Tahiti for 3 days following our cruise on the Aranui and I chose this property up in the mountains for its location and privacy. We weren’t disappointed. It is somewhat challenging to drive to and you definitely need a car, a manual one is better. The properity was just as beautiful as advertised but unfortunately they are doing road construction down below it so there was some construction noise during the day but it really didn’t bother us that much. «The house was modern (with an induction stove!), clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Great pool and patio area. The bedrooms were all roomy and had AC split units (but the main living, common areas did not). «At first, we wanted to relocate due to the hot condition in our room because this place has no Air condtioning. I believe another fan (two) or a better one will help the issue. We tried to relocate but the owner did point out that the place has no AC, so too late for us to back out. However, it turned out good or we made the best out of it. «We could not stay there, it was dilapidated. Mosquitos were rampant because it's in a forest. The place was filthy, Mosquito net over the bed had gaping holes in it. No TV. We left and stayed at the TeMoana a few days, and then rented a beach house in Paea that was so much nicer. Which I will give a good review to. I demanded a refund but have not had any luck getting my money back. Ican't believe they're putting this trash out there to rent.»
