«Small farm town feel. Nice job renovating the location. If you’re looking at cooking or doing in the kitchen, they have everything you need there. Lighting in the bedroom throughout the night. It is pretty light with the street lights as there are no shades so if your used to sleeping in dark rooms that will not happen here. Very historic building we were not there very much other than to just sleep.»

«Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. «We really enjoyed staying at the Washington Guest House. The house is beautifully done and had super helpful touches like Kleenex, soft drinks in the fridge and games in the backyard. Our family enjoyed hanging out here in the evenings.»
