«We were in Jefferson for the Civil War Reenactment and this house was perfect for our stay. It was across the street from one of the reenactor encampment locations and a short, easy walk to the downtown area. Even though it was close to everything, it was quie6 and peaceful. The house is beautiful and plenty large enough for a fwmily. Check in, check out super easy. The owner is very quick to answer questions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next year.»

«I ended up staying with my friends at The Grand Harbor next door however, I did go through the cabin and found it to be super clean and inviting. All the necessities and amenities one would need were there. AC was working well cooling the place down. The view from the covered porch is amazing!!! Saw and heard so many birds which I love. Jennifer continued to check in to see if we needed anything and responded quickly if we contacted her.»

«This quiet getaway was exactly what we needed. This little cottage was absolutely amazing and beautiful, clean on the inside and well maintained. My wife loved everything about it not to mention they even decorated for Valentine’s Day and it was absolutely perfect. Definitely recommend to stay in the small town of Carthage and stay at the cottage. It has definitely been put on our list of places to revisit! »
