"I loved the view and the feel of the hotel, it was a real escape and just wonderful. I didnt love that i couldnt lock the fly screen doors so i could have the glass sliding doora open, being on the bottom floor i didnt feel safe. "

"Lovely tidy little unit perfect for a quick overnight trip and a head start to the airport. I checked in quite late but the instructions were clear and a welcome light left on for me. check in and out were simple and fuss free. Could suggest a wine glass in the cupboard and some teaspoons for the coffee - felt a little weird stirring coffee with a dessert spoon but overall 10/10."

"What a beautiful place this is, accomodated 3 families with young kids. The house is safe, with amazing security gates on thr stairs, plenty of bedrooms for all the families with multiple kids. So close to the beach! Its hard to find a place that people with young families can come together and spend quality time with each other, this is the perfect place for that! Would definitely stay again"

"It was a great setting in the harbour watching the sun rise and set and with lots of wildlife to see. The boat would benefit from curtains or blinds for privacy and netting over the windows to keep the mosquitoes out. The shower cubicle was broken, but otherwise it was all in reasonable condition. "Eight of us (all seniors) had a wonderful 5 days in this magnificent house on the canals. Everything was spotlessly clean and spacious. Great sitting on the verandah decking watching the birdlife and trying our hands at a bit of crabbing with drop nets of the jetty. Lovely setting and would thoroughly recommend a holiday here for all ages at anytime of the year"

"We are a young family of 4 from Perth. The house was clean, spacious, extremely family friendly and well equipped with everything you need for a perfect family getaway. It has 4 bedrooms and a big gated backyard. It could easily and comfortably accomodate 2 families. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Magnolia Cottage and would love to come back to visit again."
