Our family of 6 (4 adults and 2 teens) stayed at this property for 3 nights in early July! We were looking for something relatively close to Yosemite, without all the crowds that come with staying in the park, and this fit the bill. We were about 1 1/2 hours from the Arch Rock entrance to Yosemite. Overall, we’re so pleased with our stay! The property is tucked away off of a little gravel road and wasn’t hard to find at all. The house itself was extremely clean, in fact our only issue was the strong cleaner smell that took several hours to dissipate - for someone not as sensitive to smells this may not be an issue! The house is LARGE, plenty of room to spread out, and we made good use of the pool table and tv room after days of hiking. Any kitchen appliance you could imagine was provided, including 2 fridges and 2 range/stoves, a few different coffee makers, and a ginormous island. There’s also an Alexa for playing music etc. The pool is down several steps and has a fence enclosure, and was a great place to relax and listen to the local birds (including the bonus chickens on the property lol). The only downsides that we wish we had known about: 1) the listing shows a beautiful Firepit area that we were unable to use due to it being dry season, so fires are not allowed (inside or out) and 2) there was a fee per day for having the pool heated. Some people would be fine with the ambient temps but we like it a little warmerOverall, a great place to stay!
