«The photos were accurate and the property was beautiful. We enjoyed the fishing and swimming and the house was comfortable for everyone. Really close to the Highway but you can't hear the noise at all. It's definitely secluded which we liked but pretty close to downtown Morganton. Thank you for hosting us!»

«Nice property about 10 minutes to Old Fort. Good for a couple maybe two. Second bathroom off living room a little strange. Very clean and well thought out. Just be careful of the check out time, it’s early 10 am with no flexibility.»

«We really enjoyed our stay at this mountain home! The home has useable land around it which meant we were able to throw the football and run around some. My kids enjoyed running up and down the small hill in the backyard. The best part about the yard is the firefly show that happens at night. Impressive! The inside of the home is comfortable and clean. The huge windows in the family room were perfect for watching a thunder storm move through the area. We would definitely visit again.»

«The property itself is lovely. The house was roomy, and perfect for a retreat. I did not feel the house was deeply cleaned. Opened the door to go outside, and wads of lint came out from under the sofa from the breeze. Obviously not vacuumed in awhile! The pillows were cheap, hard, and flat making it difficult to get comfortable. There were also some pots and pans that were not clean. One had baked on greasy gunk on it. «Owners thought of most everything in this home. Good tools, dishes etc in kitchen. Having laundry for a longer stay (nearly 2 weeks for me) very helpful. Varied art with credits in the “area folder”, record player with something for all, ample linens and basics made for a very homey stay. Quiet neighborhood and good proximity to town. Host checked in and communicated very well. Would stay again for sure! Grateful and felt right at home»
