«This was a last minute booking for us due to a death in the family. So it was great to have a place in the middle of town for us to be close to family. The bedrooms were large and so were the beds. The only thing I didn’t read was that we had to provide our own toilet paper so when it ran out in the middle of the night there was no other roll in the house. Also we would have liked to have a few more towels instead of one per person. The host requested that picture of the doors to the home ...

«We had our children and grandchildren with us and found this property to be very Family friendly. Plenty of games and movies inside. The basement was a plus, room for the littles to play and the foosball table made for some competition. The amount of Lake toys was very impressive and plenty of outside play area. Great location, quiet cove to swim in. Very well appointed house and Kitchen you don’t always get that but they thought of everything! We will most definitely come back! Our only regret ...

«If you’re looking for peace and quiet you found it. I sat out on the porch and just looked at the pond. Turned off the cell relaxed and enjoyed the view. The host was very accommodating. The home look just like the pictures and when I arrived the air conditioning was going which was great when your from California and not used to the hot sticky summers in Southern Illinois.»

«Nice place. We cooked meals inside on the stove but also over a fire at the fire pit. There is a small creek behind the cabin that runs when it rains out. That was pretty cool. No nearby light pollution so the sky is really dark at night and you can see a lot of stars. Overall a great experience. Two wineries close by. It's on the wine trail. Close to everything in Southern Illinois. We went to all the state parks.»
