«Or stay was perfect. From the rainbow over the Douro in the morning to the nice sunsets. Made ourselves a little piri-piri chicken in the bbq. Staff from local Mercado were super friendly.»

«Licinia and her husband were wonderful hosts, easy to communicate with and resolving any issues promptly. The pool.ans outdoor area was great though the weather was bad during our stay so we didn't get to use it.. easy drive to Porto too! The only thing we found was the listing says spa pool and fitness centre which must be a mistake as there is not either of those available a this house.»

«This is an amazing house on an amazing property. The house is well appointed and spacious. The pool is enormous, and overlooks the river. We enjoyed watching the tour boats go up and down the river, and passing the goats and chickens on the road. The host has made it very comfortable. The only downside is it is an extremely twisty and steep road down to the house. But totally worth it for the serenity upon arrival.»

«A beautiful family-owned property, with stunning views and grounds on the banks of the river Douro. I stayed with 4 family members and we had a very special 10 days. You need a car to navigate the area, and we often stocked up on goods in Marco de Canaveses. On Francisco's recommendation we travelled to Quinta do Pacheca, which was stunning. Boat trips need to be booked in advance. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and found everything clean and tidy. I hope we can return one day soon.»

«Le logement est spacieux et l’extérieur est très agréable avec le jardin, les terrasses et la piscine. La literie est confortable et il y a tout le nécessaire dans les salles d’eau (produits et linge). La cuisine est bien équipée mais la hotte est un peu basse. Nous y avons passé deux belles semaines ! Sur les conseils de la propriétaire, nous avons pu découvrir de belles adresses (restaurants, caves, monuments…).»

«La localidad es perfecta, la casa es tal como se describe en el anuncio y me atrevería a decir que es aun mejor. La vista es insuperable, disfrutamos de la piscina, de las áreas verdes internas a la propiedad, practicamos deporte al aire libre, etc . Además las casa tiene tantos ambientes muy agradables y acogedores, que sinceramente no teníamos ganas de salir de la propiedad. Estuvimos en casa 10 personas, por 9 días en familia y la pasamos fantástico. Un sincero agradecimiento al Sr. Alvaro ...

«Victor went above and beyond as our host. Before even checking into the house, he helped set up transportation, rental cars, and a restaurant reservation recommended by him. His house was absolutely beautiful, and he greeted us upon our arrival to show us around the property. Thanks to him, we also had a unique lunch experience at this tavern on our first full day in town. Would reccomend to anyone!»

«Wir wurden sehr zuvorkommend empfangen und haben schöne Ausflugstipps bekommen. Das Haus ist rustikal, sauber und gemütlich. Das dritte Schlafzimmer hat einen eigenen Eingang mit eigenem Bad. Das Grundstück ist sehr gepflegt und liegt in toller Natur.»

«Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward.»
