«We had a really fantastic night at the Shepherds Hut! Its a truly stunning setting and very well appointed little hut, the gas fire is great and the underfloor heating gives some real comfort! A few improvements in regards to communication, location details and a welcome book with instructions for the fire, local information etc would really raise this to the PERFECT destination! «The shepherds hut is in a beautiful rural position with excellent views. It is extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable. You have a lovely terrace, a garden area with a picnic table and fire pit. With peacocks and alpacas to watch it really is a fantastic rural experience. The owners Carol and Don are really helpful and friendly. We would certainly return and recommend.»

«This was our first time staying here and it certainly won't be our last. The shepherd's hut is beautifully decorated and has such a cosy and comfortable feel to it. The under floor heating kept it lovely and warm too despite the snow outside (which also made it super pretty). The outside space was so private and had a fantastic view over the fields and to the hills beyond. Our favourite thing was sitting out at night by the fire pit and relaxing, looking up at the stars. «We stayed here the weekend just gone (May 10th 24) as a surprise for my 40th birthday. It was peaceful, pretty and private. The setting was stunning and even had a few sheep near by. The cabin was great with everything we needed to make our stay a good one. We met the owner who made sure we were ok and pointed us in the direction of a tasty meal at the Sun Hotel. Would fully recommend if looking for a completely chilled few days. Can’t wait to stay again : )»

«Booked last minute for a half term hike up Snowden. This was the perfect place to discover Snowdon and surrounding areas! The place had a unique "off grid" twist which we just loved. The weather worked in our favour so the whole short break was truly amazing. Myself, partner, daughter and dog highly recommend! «Pre check in email was very useful about how to find the nearest car park, but missed the part about not being able to book the parking for more than 24 hours so you have to sit for your current session to expire before paying again. Check out time was incorrect stating 1100 when booking email stated by noon. I reply to confirm but didn’t hear back from property.
