«We loved our weekend getaway! Remote location, we enjoyed exploring some nearby trails, looking for wildlife tracks, and wading at the swimming hole. The driving directions were very helpful and while SUV would likely be beneficial on some of the roads, our Subaru Outback did just fine. Accommodations were as described and beds were comfortable. I really enjoyed drinking my coffee while watching the sunrise and my toddler play in the living room.»

«We enjoyed our stay, and the host, Jeff, was super responsive. The cabin was perfect for just the two of us and super clean. We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was for cooking. We also appreciated having a washer/dryer. Others have mentioned this but be aware that the cabin is right next door to a lodge. «This was my second visit to the cabin, and like the first, I enjoyed every minute there. I returned to work on wrapping up the novel I started last year, and the peace and quiet in this lovely setting was everything I needed. Bonus: I was there for the unexpected northern lights flare, and without any light pollution, I caught some amazing images on my phone! Great cabin—clean, comfortable, and cozy—and wonderful hosts. «Loved the cabin and loved the care that Sheri put into it. It felt like home. Be sure to check out the books in the sunroom, we found some amazing waterfalls and will be purchasing that book to better plan our trip back. Even made use of the hiking sticks and were glad we had them. Cabin was clean and well stocked for our needs...even had plenty of quality toilet paper, not the cheap stuff most cabins use.
