«I enjoy going to the Outer Banks off season when it's a bit cooler and there are a lot less people. We wanted to be able to have a house close to the beach that also provided some privacy and we wanted a hot tub. «The property was quiet and felt private though in a neighborhood. The house was very clean and the kitchen well appointed for cooking. Our little dog came with us and was welcomed to stay. All was in good order as was described in the VRBO listing. Our only suggestion might be that the mattress was a little too firm--a memory foam mattress pad would be great! «Four of us (two adults and two grown kids) stayed for five nights over the holiday weekend. The location of this property right on the Duck/Southern Shores boundary was just great. Sunset views of the bay were great and the ocean was a short walk or drive away. The property was very clean.
