«Fantastically comfortable bed, couldn't wait to get into it each of the 3 nights we stayed.
Nicely appointed and very clean accommodation but in this day and age the least expectation would be a small microwave and a sink in the room. Found plates, cups and cutlery but not ideal having to wash up in the bathroom and Ranfurly doesn't have many places to eat out at night.»

«This is a no frills country pub that doesnt pretend to be anything else. But it delivers everything you hope for ...a clean warm room, a comfortable bed, a great shower, and really good food. It's a great place to stay. »

«Highly recommended plce to stay. Authentic experience in old fashion surrondings on the country side with a lot of sheep on the fields and mountans in the distance. Peter and his wife are very friendly and the place clean and welcoming. Great for kids, but also adults.»

«Authentically maintained old hotel in a stunning location. Considering the very low outside temperatures, the hotel, restaurant and accommodation areas were toasty warm during our entire stay (3 nights). Beds and pillows super comfy, bedding super cosy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of options on the continental breakfast buffet, and evening menu was great too. A lot of sights to see and several quaint settlements and towns to visit, all within an hour or so drive of the hotel. ...

«The cottage was nicely appointed, clean, and of course, very tranquil. Sharon was communicative and helpful with directions. We enjoyed our stay. It’s off the beaten track and take your time on the journey as you get there, and drive slowly, as the views are lovely. »
